Today is the goddess of fashion, queen of cool and ultimate fashionista’s birthday. Yes that’s right today Anna Wintour turns 60. The Vogue editor in chief celebrated her big day with cupcakes (as she does every year) and the usual ruthless rule of the Vogue office of course.

Her love of up and coming designers as well as the classics we all love has made her one of, if not the, most influential people in fashion. Even her trade mark of sun glass wearing grabs attention and can always be seen in the first row at runway shows. Her constant battle with PETA over her obvious love of fur makes headlines as well, despite their constant ridicule Anna never falters. Her grace and perseverence should be admired along with her all seeing, ever critical eye.

For those of you that don’t know who Anna Wintour is, you should be ashamed! I’m not trying to be rude but are you living under a rock? Anna is the god of all things fashionable and to be a true fashionista you muct know of her. End of discussion.

So Anna, a very happy birthday to you. Keep up the amazing work, we all look up to you. And I hope PETA gives it a rest and recognizes your true genius, at least for the day.
