“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” – Coco Chanel

After I posted my original post for today (the post below) I realized that for once I was almost completely homework free. It is quite a nice feeling, like a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I know very cliche, but the burden is gone…at least for tonight. So after I finished the little work I had All You Need Is Love By The Beatles came on my iTunes and it got me to thinking that love could be substituted for so many things in that song and it inspired me. That inspiration lead to my decision to post a few of my favorite looks and pictures, accessories and shoes, and such. Things that need to be seen and shown. After all everyone could use a little fabulous in their lives.

grayceThese are some awesome necklaces I found while I was browsing around on the Vogue website. What’s the catch to their adorableness you ask? Absolutely nothing! The necklaces by Molly Sims are both cute and affordable, unheard of! Just in case you were wondering the ones pictured to the left are The Unforgettable Knot Necklace in the Grayce by Molly Sims line.paris-vogue-nov913

I was browsing around the web for other fabulous fashion blogs when I came across DeSmitten, a great fashion blog done mostly in pictures, when I saw some  stuff I really liked. One thing was an awesome picture from Italian Vogue and my fashion intuition tells me it’s from a fashion pictorial. Whatever it is it’s totally fabulous, take a look to the right.

I have two words for you: Boyfriend Blazers. My new obsession, my new love, my new must have item. I want nothing more than to buy every color from16260895_040_b every store. Unfortunately my mother would not be to happy with that, she’s all fro herself losing weight but when it comes to her credit card it’s apparently not the same. Alas, I will just have to settle for my one favorite, although that’s not to bad there is an undeniably fabulous one at Urban Outfitters that comes in an irresistible teal. Its not even that I want it that bad it’s that I can’t deny my wardrobe the joy (that’s a lie, I totally want it). Take a look at my baby and all it’s fabulous-ness to the left.

And so I continue on the subject of Urban Outfitters, a store I became infatuated with when I visited a location in New York. It was 3 years ago, I was in sevenIMG_1623th grade, I was already an avid fashion lover but the eclectic off beat way the atmosphere of the store was along with the clothes was not something I had really experienced before. This single trip to a store opened my eyes up to what seemed like a whole new world. One trip to Urban Outfitters opened up my view of fashion and made me realize their really are no boundaries. I always keep that memory close in mind when I pick my outfits, it reminds me that fashion truly in self expression  and that’s what matter, not what others say, it’s how you feel. To the right is a picture of my sister, Natalie, and I (I’m wearing white) in Central Park during that trip to New York.

Now onto Topshop. Topshop is a London based store that just this summer opened it’s first us flagship store in New York, although they are located all over Europe. Topshop reinforces the fact (no not theory, fact) that Europeans have better fashion, maybe even style, than us here in the states. Kate Moss even has a line with them, how much better can it get to have Kate Moss, ultimate model, designing for a store. The clothes are nothing below fabulous and it’s not to expensive.

My favorite part of the Topshop site is the Style Advisor Quick Fix, it is new every few days and gives great, easy ways to spice up classic, simple looks. This week added an over sized cardigan, messenger bag, nylons, and fur lined boots to a regular drop waist, 20’s inspired dress (extremely in right now). Just a few additions give the dress new life as a complete outfit. Unfortunately my laptop is deciding to rebel at the moment and will not post the picture so head to the Quick Fix to check it out!

Another picture from the Topshop website. I saw it as I was browsing around and I thought it was cool. I am absolutely in love with that ‘hero’ skirt!

This post helped my bad day get a better and I hoped it brightened yours as well. And remember everyone has their off days it’s okay to break some rules when you just can’t deal anymore. I did just that today and wore my hair up at school, and a sweatshirt because I didn’t feel like spicing up the uniform. it happens to the best of us but just a little bit of online shopping, or blogging, can cure those bad day blues. xoxo.
